Nutrient media are used in Medical Microbiology for the isolation and identification of microorganisms that infect the human body. They consist of nutritional components and non-nutritional elements and are classified according to their composition into: common, enriched, selective, differential, synthetic, or empirical media.
They are manufactured using high-quality raw materials and advanced production equipment under strict quality control standards.
We also offer common nutrient media for a wide range of clinical applications, as well as chromogenic media that enable color differentiation, isolation, and identification of aerobic and anaerobic bacteria, as well as fungi. These media separate bacteria and fungi based on their enzymatic activity. The presence of chromogenic substances makes bacterial isolation much easier and more reliable.
Chromogenic Nutrient Media
Next-generation media that differentiate bacteria and fungi based on their enzymes. The chromogenic compounds in these media color the colonies of various bacteria in different shades, allowing for much better isolation compared to common nutrient media.
