Nutrient media are used in Medical Microbiology for the isolation and identification of microorganisms that infect the human body. They consist of nutritional components and non-nutritional elements and are classified according to their composition into: general, enriched, selective, differential, synthetic, or empirical nutrient media.

They are manufactured from high-quality raw materials and advanced production equipment, following strict quality control standards.

There are also general nutrient media available for a wide range of clinical applications, as well as chromogenic media, which allow color-based differentiation, isolation, and identification of aerobic and anaerobic bacteria, as well as fungi.
